Matthew Jukes Top 100 Australian Wines 17/18
Wine review: '2016 Block 1A Chardonnay is the everyday Chardonnay in The Lane's cellar and instead of getting a forward, easy-going, no-brainer of a wine you are rewarded with a wine with so much mineral tanginess and zest, balanced with elite, restrained Chardonnay fruit it is incredible. This is a wine which is lighter and more flexible that the more senior wines but it is no less intricately assembled.'

Halliday Wine Companion 2018
Score: 91 Points
Wine review: 'Falls into the riper category with stone fruit, melons and dried figs yet done well. Some ginger cream, oak spice, fleshy, fuller bodied but a trail of refreshing acidity keeps this afloat. Ready to go.' (*Special Value Star)
